The Flow — Game2021
            (Description)
In the past year, a staggering 59.1% of LGBTQ+ students faced bullying from their peers due to their gender expression. To combat this, our innovative solution is to develop a board game centered around the concept of fashion gentrification.

The game's core objective is to foster empathy and understanding among players, encouraging them to respect diverse gender expressions and challenge traditional fashion norms. By engaging players in a journey through fashion history, they will collect clothing elements associated with famous fashion fluid icons. These elements will be used to create a mix-matched character, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of individuality while breaking down societal expectations.

Designing for an audience aged 12-18 presents several challenges, particularly in striking a balance between maturity and enjoyment. It's crucial to ensure that the game mechanics and content are both intellectually stimulating and entertaining, catering to the evolving interests and sensibilities of adolescents and teens. Incorporating elements of fashion history and gender expression requires a delicate approach to avoid oversimplification or trivialization of complex issues.
